NOTD: Essie - Mint Candy Apple

Essie's Mint Candy Apple is a favourite of mine from this brand. And that's saying something since I'm somewhat of an Essie fanatic! This beautiful blue-green is appropriate all year long, but I especially like to wear this polish during the summer months, and it looks great with a tan. I know it sounds odd, but the colour appears more blue than green in the summer and vice-versa in the colder months. I don't know if it's only me that finds this (it probably is, I'm a little weird), or if this is common knowledge with this colour. Whatever the answer, Mint Candy Apple is a gorgeous, almost Tiffany-blue. This colour is one of the more popular colours from Essie and I'd highly recommend it to everyone.

Hello to all the lovely people who have stumbled upon my blog today. As you can probably guess from the title, this is my first blog post. EVER.

Beauty is one of my passions in life. I'm obsessed with it. I spend countless hours poring over beauty blogs and YouTube channels and the vast majority of my money building up my collection. So, as expected, I'm really excited to start rambling on about all things beauty to strangers on the Internet. 

I've always wanted to start a beauty blog and I hugely admire the girls that have built their blogs up from nothing to having a full-time career from it. I haven't decided to start this blog as a way of gaining popularity, but to share my passion with others. So I hope that at least some people find this blog interesting and I'll do my very best to post regularly with my completely honest reviews  and useful recommendations.
